Diwali activities

During the week we coloured in rangoli patterns and decorated them with glitter glue. We learned all about the diva lamps filled with oil that are lit during Diwali time. We heard about the massive fireworks that are set off on the 5th day of Diwali and this year it coincided with our Guy Fawkes.

Mrs Makani had a go at making burfi out of ricotta cheese, butter, milk powder and sugar. It was like a milk fudge. You might have to ask the kids how that went!
