We are very proud of our new classroom
This term we are studying how early Maori settled in N.Z. and how they lived. This display shows a picture of Maui in the book 'Maui and the Big Fish." This is the Maori myth which tells how Maui fished up a big stingray (portrayed as The North Island).
As part of our production which is happening this term we will be dramatising this Myth with the children through music, dance and drama.
CONGRATULATIONS goes to Paige who received a certificate at the
first Ara Teina singing assembly this week.
She has been working really hard on her writing and reading.
Well done Paige.
Also at this assembly we performed a song called 'Haere Mai"
